On behalf of the DESIRED Consortium, I welcome you to the first Newsletter of the project.
DESIRED, funded by the European Commission within the Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Action – European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), brings together 7 partners from 6 EU countries to boost the production of C2+ solar fuels (without overlooking C1 species such as methanol) by direct co-processing of CO2 and water using novel and recyclable hybrid photo-electrocatalysts in an innovative photoreactor design.
The DESIRED project had its kick-off meeting in Bari, Italy, on November 9-10, 2022. In this Newsletter, we are happy to share with you the updates from the first six months as well as next steps.
