DESIRED participated in the 8th H2020 Energy & Horizon Europe Alternative Fuels workshop, 7th CO2 Value Days and General Assembly, and SUNER-C/SUNERGY Meeting on future of Solar Fuels

8th H2020 Energy & Horizon Europe Alternative Fuels workshop

On September 20, 2023 the DESIRED project participated in the 8th H2020 CCUS/AAlternative Fuels workshop organised by CINEA in Brussels.

The workshop brought together CINEA’s H2020 and Horizon Europe Project Coordinators and Policymakers in the area of CCUS and Alternative fuels. It was a great opportunity to meet face to face and discuss together about the challenges and opportunities of CCUS and Alternative fuels in order to achieve climate neutrality.

A total of 30 projects discussed the future priorities of carbon capture, utilization and storage, and alternative fuels to achieve climate neutrality. A project poster was presented by the DESIRED partners CIRCC (Consorzio Interuniversitario Reattività Chimica e Catalisi), IC2R srl (Innovative Catalysis for Carbon Recycling) and CU (Charles University). Prof. Michele Aresta attended the Workshop.
