DESIRED Autumn School on Sustainable Catalysis: Exploring the Role of Catalysis in a Sustainable Future
Location: Liblice Chateau, Czech Republic
Dates: 21–24 October 2025
Meeting type: In person
The 4-day School on Sustainable Catalysis is part of the DESIRED Training education and capacity building programme and offers an exciting opportunity for undergraduate students, PhD students, and early postdocs to deepen their understanding of the role of catalysis in sustainable chemistry.
The school brings together world-leading researchers and industry professionals to explore both fundamental and applied aspects of catalysis, with a strong focus on sustainability. In addition to technical sessions, participants will also benefit from engaging lectures on ethics in science and other soft skills essential for a well-rounded scientific career.
Why join the School on Sustainable Catalysis?
Learn from leading voices in catalysis and sustainable chemistry with a curated programme of plenary and keynote lectures.
Present your own research! Submit an abstract for the chance to give a presentation during the school sessions.
Expand your professional network and connect with peers, mentors, and professionals from academia and industry.
Gain insights into hot topics such as single-atom catalysis, CO₂ conversion, electrocatalysis, and photoredox reactions.
Broaden your perspective with sessions on ethics, communication, and the societal role of science.
Enjoy the stunning venue of Liblice Chateau, including social activities and time to explore Czech culture.
A certificate of attendance will be issued upon successful participation.
